Graduate Forms On-Line
This useful web page provides direct access to the various University forms that need to be completed for transfer of status, confirmation of status, to apply for an extension of time, or suspension of status, and other matters.
The Examination Regulations
You should receive a copy from your college. The printed edition of the various decrees and regulations incorporates all changes made up to the beginning of Trinity Term each year. The Examination Regulations contain the rules which govern your course. They are updated each year, and you must always consult the latest issue in which any changes in regulations will have been incorporated. You should read not only the general section on your degree course, but also the special DPhil regulations for the Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and the Doctoral Training Centres, and the regulations of Council's Education Committee.

Notes of Guidance for Graduate Taught Courses
These notes provide information and guidance on the framework within which the University expects research degrees or taught courses to be offered and administered. Their purpose is to enable students to gain maximum benefit from their programme of study, and to ensure that both students and academic staff understand their roles and the expectations that each group will have of each other.
The Notes should be read in conjunction with the Examination Regulations (which have overriding authority). Research students should also read the Memorandum of Guidance for Research Students and their Supervisors, which is set out in the Examination Regulations.

Oxford Libraries A leaflet on Oxford librariesand the method of registration should have been issued with the Examination Regulations. New students should immediately register as readers at the Bodleian Library, and with relevant departmental libraries. Students should also obtain a user name, to have access to on-line services.
