The ability to communicate using wireless (RF) technology in a secure and, if possible, covert manner is of great importance to many of the UK's defence and intelligence services.  Adversaries continually test the current systems that are used, and thus new methods of achieving covert communication are in high demand.  In this project, I will work closely with Her Majesty's Government Communications Centre (HMGCC) to elevate a covert communication method that I recently invented to a higher level of readiness in preparation for adoptions by the UK government.  The method has been patented (managed by OUI), and HMGCC along with other government organisations have expressed a keen interest in helping me to advance the technology.  To this end, the main goal of the project is to develop a software defined radio platform that will be used to implement and test the communication method, thus providing a proof-of-concept and validating theoretical performance predictions.
