University Public Affairs Directorate
The Public Affairs Directorate, based at University Offices in Wellington Square, is responsible for developing public understanding of the aims and activities of the collegiate University. It provides public affairs and communications advice and services to colleagues across the collegiate University.

Design and Publications Office
The branding toolkit includes branding advice, a style guide, and downloadable logos. Please read the guidelines carefully before embarking on any new communications, be they internal or external.
PAD produces conference items including branded University stationery for meetings and events, pens, folders and notepads.
The Design Studio offers creative and cost-effective design for a range of materials including posters, leaflets, newsletters, flyers and brochures, as well as a print-buying services.
The University image library contains more than 9,000 images of the University and the city of Oxford, available at a 50 per cent discount to departments and colleges. This is also an easy and secure way for departments and colleges to store, access and sell their own images.
The digital style guide outlines the core elements used in the design of the University's website, which you can use in your own web design.
The digital content calendar shows all stories coming up on the central University’s digital channels. It also lists external events that could be used as story hooks. You can use content listed here on your own channels, as well as having your own items added to the calendar.
The event management toolkit contains practical advice about managing and promoting events, including templates to download.
The Events Office lends out event items including University branded table cloths and radios so that colleagues running an event can keep in touch with one another if the venue is large. You can also purchase invitation cards and branded gift bags.
Training and networking
The Communications Officers' Network is a good way to make contact with others working in communications across the collegiate University and share knowledge, ideas and resources. Email email@example.com to join.
The termly PAD workshops are a series of free lunchtime training sessions covering a range of communications topics.
