Adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) is critical to support the UK’s Industrial Strategy.
Pitch-In aims to collaboratively identify and address barriers to the successful development, introduction and further exploitation of the Internet of Things, focusing on addressing barriers across five key areas: Cities, Energy, Health and Wellbeing, Managing the Introduction of IoT and Manufacturing.
Pitch-In is led by the University of Sheffield and is a collaboration between Sheffield and the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Newcastle.
There is currently an opportunity for funding for a proof of concept project to work on overcoming barriers to the exploitation of the Internet of Things.
