A series of one-day workshops are being organised to learn about the pros and cons of cloud computing on 16th October, and 27th November.

The Department of Engineering Sciences, MPLS IRP team and Amazon Web Services are hosting a series of free, hands-on workshops for researchers at any stage of their career to learn about the pros and cons of cloud computing.

Please take a look at this link for details and for the internal registration. Due to the popularity of the first workshop on 16th October, two subsequent workshops will be organised on 27th November. Please register your interest via the link above.

The aim of the workshop is to teach researchers how to adopt modern cloud computing facilities, including building a HPC on the cloud, running and monitoring jobs.

Open to Oxford post-graduate students, researchers and academics only.
