Library services
New system launch postponed
The planned move to the new library system for the Bodleian Libraries has been postponed. This means there will no longer be any impact on library services during the week 16 – 24 August. All services will run as normal during that week.
We still recommend that you export your favourites from MySOLO in readiness for the transition to the new system.
The introduction of the new harmonised Bodleian Libraries lending policies is also postponed, and will be implemented along with the new system.
We will advertise the new go-live date for the new system and lending policies once this is confirmed.
August Bank Holiday weekend closure
The Radcliffe Science Library and Vere Harmsworth Library will be closed over the August Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 27 to Monday 29 August 2022).
Noise disruption at the Vere Harmsworth Library
Essential roof works are underway at the Rothermere American Institute building, with the result that there will be some noise experienced by readers in the VHL. More details can be found on the Bodleian blog.
