Scientists from the Nuffield Department of Medicine have evaluated LamPORE, a novel diagnostic platform for detecting SARS-CoV-2 RNA. LamPORE was developed by Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a spin-out company from the Department of Chemistry, and has the potential to analyse thousands of samples per day on a single instrument.
