Dr Mbogo got onto the Masters in Computer Science programme at Oxford with a full scholarship through the Shell Centenary Foundation, and is now Dean of the School of Science and Technology at the Kenya Methodist University and the first ever Kenyan to receive the prestigious OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Award earlier this year.
