Today MPLS has held its annual EPSRC Vacation Bursaries Poster Event, bringing together all students in the Division who hold summer vacation bursary awards.

The poster event provided a great opportunity for students to share their project work, network and gain experience in presenting their work.

The event was attended by Professor Robert Taylor (Associate Head of the MPLS Division (Academic)) and Dr Stephen Payne (Associate Head of Department, Engineering Science).

All were impressed by the high standard of all the work presented. A prize for the best project poster was awarded to Chris Howland (Mathematics) with Commendations to Andrew Smith (Condensed Matter Physics), Jan-Niklas Boyn (Chemistry) and Robert Weston (Engineering).
