Dr Tessa Baker

Oxford physicist Dr Tessa Baker has won the Women of the Future Award for Science.

Dr Baker is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Physics and a fellow of All Souls College.

The awards recognise young female talent in the UK. 

The shortlist for the Science award included women from Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Liverpool.

The award winners were announced at a ceremony in London yesterday evening.
