Public Engagement - training
Each term we provide a selection of free courses to help you think about and plan high quality engagement. This term, all training will be provided online. All courses are open to DPhils and researchers at all levels, for MPLS and MSD divisions.
This term we are offering sessions on:
- An introduction to public engagement with research - what it is, what makes effective engagement and where to find opportunities, further help and support from around the University
- Telling stories that matter - an introduction to the key ingredients of storytelling and narrative to help make your research communications clear, memorable and appealing for public audiences.
- Methods for effective two-way, interactive public engagement - looking at a range of activities and approaches you can incorporate into your public engagement to provide opportunities for publics to get hands-on and minds-on with your research.
