Public Engagement - funding
he British Society for the History of Science (BSHS) invites applications for its outreach and engagement project grants. These support engagement and outreach projects in the history of science. Projects that engage with the history of science, technology and medicine in new ways and are applicable to their intended audience are particularly encouraged. Funds support projects such as organising public events, developing of materials for schools and working with collections and heritage sites.
Support is primarily intended as a seedcorn fund for small-scale projects and events, however, projects that are part of a larger scheme of activity may also be supported.
At least one person named on the application must be a member of the BSHS.
Grants are worth up to £200 each.
There will be three more rounds for this grant in 2020.
