Cancer Research UK invites nominations for its inspiring leadership in research engagement prize. This recognises an individual and team members who have demonstrated significant commitment to public engagement with science and have embedded a culture of engagement within their institution or research group. Recipients are expected to work with CRUK’s research engagement team to develop and deliver public engagement activity.

Nominees must be living at the time of nomination. Individuals and their teams may self-nominate. They must be in receipt of, or have been support directly or indirectly by CRUK funding. There are no geographical limitations, but a significant proportion of the public engagement work should have taken place in the UK. Institutions or organisations are not eligible.

The prize is worth £5,000 and may be used to support, develop or extend public engagement activity, or to undertake training related to public engagement.
