Public Engagement - funding
The Institute of Physics public engagement grant scheme provides up to £3,000 to individuals and organisations running physics-based events and activities in the UK and Ireland.
The Institute of Physics is looking to fund projects that:
- Raise public awareness of, and engagement with, contemporary physics.
- Inspire and enthuse public audiences, especially those not previously interested in physics.
- Reach adult and family audiences beyond the classroom.
- Develop the science communication skills of individuals, particularly physicists.
The grant scheme has two rounds each year.
Successful applicants will be required to submit an evaluation of their project.
You can read the project summaries from 2018 from last round’s successful applications.
Deadline is 5pm on Monday 29 October.
