Public Engagement - news
The Oxford Scientist, formerly Bang Science! magazine is a student-run publication with blogs, news and more. They're looking to extend their reach out to local schools and are running a science writing competition for secondary schools.
The competition invites entries in Y10-12 to write 700 words about a 'scientific discovery' of their choice for a chance to have their article published in the magazine and a £50 Amazon voucher.
Oxford Sparks are supporting the competition by providing the voucher prize.
Deadline is 27 April.
