Oxford Hands-On Science (OxHOS) is a student society seeking to spread enthusiasm for science by taking interactive, hands-on experiments to schools and public venues. Their aim is to show the public that science is awesome and inspire the next generation of scientists.
This year their Roadshow is heading to Oxfordshire, the Peak District and Nottinghamshire, between 16th June and 8th July
They're looking for keen science students (undergraduate or postgraduate) or University scientists to join as demonstrators - for some of this time!
If you haven't done any outreach before don't worry - no experience is necessary. training, food, transport, and campsite accommodation for the weeks outside Oxfordshire will be provided.
