The Request a Woman Scientist platform connects female scientists from a range of disciplines with journalists, educators, policy makers, scientists, and anyone needing scientific expertise.
The database was started as a way to help redress the gender imbalances of media interviews, panels, government, and other scientist contributions.
To register you simply need to fill in a relatively short questionnaire.
