Long-form writing training, run by The Conversation, September and November
31 August 2022
Public Engagement - training
Free online sessions for researchers who have a clear idea for a long read based on their current research.
The Conversation’s Insights section publishes long reads of up to 4,000 words. These typically combine new investigative research with powerful narratives that grab readers’ attention while hearing from new and under-represented voices.
Insights articles may also tell the inside story of a research journey, including personal ups-and-downs.
The sessions are open to academics from all member universities and will take place on Zoom.
Academics should already have attended The Conversation’s general training session or had a piece published on The Conversation, and have a clear idea for a long read based on their current research.
The dates and times are:
15 September 10:30 - 12:00 (registration opens 25 August) Click here to register (15 Sept session)
