Sense about Science are running this free online workshop for STEM and social science early career researchers, trainees and medical professionals as part of their Voice of Young Science network.

Do you want to learn how to effectively engage with policy? Sense about Science are hosting their Policy Engagement for Researchers online workshop

29 July, 09.30am - 13.00pm

As part of the Voice of Young Science, a network of 4000+ of Early Career Researchers from across the UK and Europe, the aim of the workshop is to encourage ECRs to learn about what policy is and get a breakdown of the British policymaking landscape, understand the societal and personal benefits of getting involved, how evidence is used in policymaking and the routes to engage with policymakers.

It is a great opportunity for ECRs to take away tangible and practical policy engagement ideas.

The session will include a policy panel where ECRs can learn what is expected of them from policy experts as well as useful tips and tricks from the panellists and each other when engaging with the policy world.

Deadline for applications is 5pm (BST) 4 July.
