Oxford Policy Engagement Network Seed Funds, deadline 23 Jan 2023
The OPEN Seed Fund makes awards of up to £5,000 to support new, or develop existing, partnerships between researchers and public policy professionals anywhere in the world.
Are you seeking to kick-start or deepen a collaboration with policymaking partner?
The OPEN Seed Fund makes awards of up to £5,000 to support new, or develop existing, partnerships between researchers and public policy professionals anywhere in the world.
Researchers and Policy Partners will work together to design, deliver and evaluate projects to: enable them to share evidence and support its use in policymaking; improve their understanding of how research can inform policymaking and develop the skills to catalyse that process; and broaden and deepen their networks.
Researchers in any discipline can apply and proposals from those new to, or experienced in, policy engagement are equally welcome.
If you would like to discuss an idea for a proposal, please do get in touch with the OPEN team.
An interdisciplinary panel, including representation of the OPEN Steering Group and the Policy Profession Unit, will prioritise practical and innovative proposals that
- Contribute to clear policy-related (as opposed to only research-related) goals;
- Define realistic objectives that relate to a clearly identified policy (or policies), and to impact that is clearly connected with that; and
- Focus on activities that enable collaboration, co-design and co-delivery of those outputs with those who make or shape relevant policies.
Deadline for applications is noon 23 January 2023
