Public Engagement - funding
The call for applications for the Wellcome Enriching Engagement grants scheme for public engagement with research projects is now live: http://www.ox.ac.uk/research/public-engagement/support-researchers.
This scheme is open to all Wellcome-funded awardees and grant holders (across all disciplines and departments) at the University of Oxford.
Funding of £10k to £100k is available and the closing date for the first round of this grants scheme is Friday, 20th September 2019.
All applicants will be invited to discuss their proposal at one of the two funding panels which will take place on:
Tuesday 1st October 2019
Tuesday 8th October 2019
Applicants are requested to note on their Case for Support which date(s) they are able to attend.
A key focus of this pilot scheme is the provision of support and guidance to increase the quality of proposals. As such, all applicants are strongly encouraged to take up the opportunity to discuss their ideas and plans with a member of the Public Engagement with Research (PER) team, prior to submitting their proposal. To request a meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of the PER team will get back to you to make the arrangements.
