PER Culture Change Fund, deadline 25 November 2022
Up to £15,000 per year for two years is available to support activities and initiatives that are designed to build capacity for and embed effective public engagement with research within a department's culture and practices.
This scheme supports projects that do one or more of the following:
- build research staff and/or research student capacity in Public and Community Engagement with Research (PCER);
- contribute to ongoing departmental support for PCER;
- build, where appropriate, partnerships (informal or formal) with other departments, divisions, multidisciplinary teams and external professionals that will improve your department’s ability and capacity to do PCER.
This could be new activity, or expanding or enhancing existing activity.
Any member of staff (researcher or e.g., PER professional) can apply for this scheme. Applications include a case for support, underpinned by an EDGE analysis.
Note: all MPLS departments have undertaken EDGE analyses at some point over the last few years - if you do not have access to this or generally would like guidance and support to apply for these funds, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Up to £15k per year is available over a two year period, beginning Feb 2023, and must be complete by the end of June 2024.
You'll find examples of previously funded projects via the link below.
Deadline for applications is midday 25 November 2022.
