Public Engagement - training
The Ri offers placements for students who are enrolled on a research degree under the Doctoral Training Partnership programme funded by Research Councils including the BBSRC, EPSRC and NERC. The placement is termed a Professional Internship for PhD Students (PIP).
The PIPs usually last for three months and are full-time. The Ri offers two regular PIPs between October and January every year, to deliver the world famous Christmas Lectures, however we are able to offer placements at other times of the year provided that we have suitable projects available. If you wish to discuss undertaking your PIP with the Ri, please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org.
