RAEng Ingenious Public Engagement Grants, deadline 28 Sept 2020
Royal Academy of Engineering funding to support public engagement with engineers and engineering while providing engineers with skills and opportunities in public engagement. From £3,000 to £30,000 available.
This funding seeks to prioritise funding for projects that reach under-served and diverse audiences and that engage with engineers and people of different genders, ages and ethnic backgrounds.
The scheme particularly encourages proposals that will support their 2025 strategy that seeks to harness the power of engineering to build a sustainable society and an inclusive economy that works for everyone.
Ingenious has funded over 200 projects across the UK, providing opportunities for over 6,000 engineers to take part in public engagement activities, to gain skills in communication and to bring engineering to the centre of society so why not take a look at previously funded projects for inspiration and get an idea of the sort of thing they're looking for.
To be eligible the project must involve engineers throughout who are based in the UK.
The deadline for applications is 4pm on Monday 28 September
