The Royal College of Psychiatrists invites entries for the Morris Markowe public engagement prize that recognises an article on a psychiatric topic aimed at the general public that is either suitable for publication, has been published, or has been commissioned by the Public Education Committee for publication. There is a £1,000 cash prize.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists invites entries for the Morris Markowe public engagement prize. This recognises an article on a psychiatric topic aimed at the general public that is either suitable for publication, has been published, or has been commissioned by the Public Education Committee for publication. The article should be published, or suitable for publication, in a national or local newspaper, lay journal or on the internet.

Entries will be judged on their readability, originality and newsworthiness. 

All members of the college, including trainees, may submit entries. Joint entries are accepted, provided one of the authors is a member of the college or a trainee.

The prize is worth £1,000.
