Public Engagement - opportunity
The ATOM Festival of Science & Technology takes place 16 - 24 March 2019.
There is an exciting programme of events planned. This includes an opportunity for organisations to engage with members of the public during the Abingdon Science Market on Saturday, 23 March 2019. This is a dynamic and inspiring collection of stands, demonstrations, live science and public engagement on the Abingdon Market Square from 10am 4pm.
Visitors throughout the day are of all ages, from scientists and their families to people who have little experience of science. ATOM can provide a table and gazebo on the day if required.

The event is free to both visitors and stall holders.

Cowley Road Carnival is the annual community celebration - featuring stalls, processions, music and a lively atmosphere. This year's theme is 'Space is the Place' that can be interpreted broadly. The Carnival are now looking for expressions of interest to take part.
