Launching in February 2021, the Public Engagement Facilitator Network aims to provide peer support and create a community comprised of professional services staff at the University who actively support, facilitate and/or lead public engagement with research as part of their role. You can sign up for the network and the first meeting now.
The Public Engagement Facilitators (PEF) Network is a University-wide network, which creates opportunities for networking, shared learning and best practice in all things Public Engagement with Research.
Launching in February 2021, the PEF Network will involve informal meetings once or twice a term, with the opportunity for responsive and flexible interaction through a dedicated MS Team with subject specific channels. The aim of the PEF Network is to provide peer support and create a community comprised of professional services staff at the University of Oxford who actively support, facilitate and/ or lead Public Engagement with Research as part of their role. The Network will be designed for and by the PEF community, and its direction will be led by its members, their interests and goals.
Come along to the PEF Network launch meeting on Tuesday 23 February, 1-2pm (online) to learn more about the network; get to know PER colleagues; and have the opportunity share, discuss and explore ideas for the purpose and objective of the Network; and what this will look like in practice.
This Network is facilitated by members of the Public Engagement with Research Team (Annaleise Depper, Hanna Smyth and Luke Caunt), in Research Services, at the University of Oxford.
