Talking Maths in Public - 25-28 August, online
Talking Maths in Public is a conference which runs in the UK every two years, for people who work in, or otherwise participate in, communicating mathematics to the public.
Talking Maths in Public 2021 will take place online (via several platforms, TBC) on 25th-28th August 2021. There will be three half days of workshops, sessions and discussions from Wednesday to Friday and a half day on Saturday for networking and activities.
The event will be supported by the ICMS in Edinburgh, and more details of event info, booking and their bursary scheme are available on the Programme page.
Sessions include:
- storytelling
- Lessons from online and hybrid events during the pandemic
- Adapting activities for people with special educational needs
- Evaluation
Registration costs £25 (as an independently organised conference, TMiP is entirely funded through ticket sales).
