Public Engagement - training
A biennial event for people who work in, or otherwise participate in, communicating mathematics to the public. The event is independently organised, and funded by ticket sales and grants from mathematical institutions.
This year's event takes place 29-31 August in the Isaac Newton Institute, Cambridge.
Full conference tickets cost £115, single day tickets are available.
Bursary places for the main TMiP event with attendance and accommodation covered is offered for UG/PG students, mathematicians early in their career or returning from a career break, and those unwaged/on a low income who would not otherwise be able to afford to come.
TMiP are also running a Demo Day, at the Royal Institution in London on Wednesday 19th June with Greg Foot, to support mathematics communicators in developing live stage demonstrations to use in their maths communication work. More information is available on the Demo Day booking page.
