The Oxford University Museums organise schools events, in particular the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of the History of Science and Botanic Garden.

Museums and gardens

The Museum of Natural History provides a comprehensive service for schools. The education team, made up of fully qualified teachers, has designed a range of fun hands-on sessions, workshops and study days for all Key Stages.

The Museum of the History of Science has an education programme that focuses on using its collection to enrich classroom learning across the curriculum, to encourage curiosity and discovery, and to support community engagement and life-long learning.

The Botanic Garden was founded to glorify nature and promote the furtherance of learning. Almost 400 years on its work still focuses on education with a thriving schools education programme.
