Course Details

If you are considering applying for a personal fellowship such as the Royal Society University Research Fellowship, this seminar is for you. Professor Chris Grovenor, Head of Department of Materials, will offer advice on what it takes to prepare and write a successful application.

While prestigious, the fellowships offered by the Royal Society and the funding agencies (e.g. EPSRC or the Royal Academy of Engineering) are very competitive and careful perparation of an application is essential. Dr Kyriakos Porfyrakis, St Anne’s College Research Fellow, will offer a personal perspective on having a fellowship.

This seminar is informal, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
