One to One coaching sessions for DPhil students and postdoctoral researchers

Course Details

Coaching has been described as: ‘The practice of supporting an individual through the process of achieving a specific personal or professional result ... the coach mainly asks questions and challenges the coachee to find answers from within himself / herself’.

To get the most out of a coaching session, it is helpful to talk about a particular objective, project or issue. Please note that these are coaching sessions, not counselling, and the sessions will focus on identifying the action you can take to progress your objective or issue. Sessions last one hour.

Please note these are not careers advice sessions. If you would like a careers advice session, they are available via the Careers Service
