For women researchers aiming for an academic career in science

course details

Are you aiming for an academic career in science? This  3-day course will help you think in detail about what you want from an academic career, and about how to start to take control and design your own pathway.

On day one, you will work to construct your own definition of career success, looking at both what's important to you and what's required to succeed in academia.

On day two you will work on your personal impact, looking at message, body language, audience and voice; and have the opportunity to see yourself on camera.

Between day two and day three (which are a month apart) you will work in a group to undertake a project; and on day three you will present the findings and outcomes of the group project and receive feedback.

Pathways is open to research staff and DPhil students in their third year and above who self-identify as female.
