Want to generate new experiments/ideas/outlooks? Where do you get your research ideas from? How can you generate new experiments or outlooks?

COURSE DETAILS

This interactive course will take some great creative thinking tools and explore how you can use them individually to enhance your research. We will then look at collaborative online tools to generate ideas because in science we rarely work alone.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this session you will:

  • Be able to explore several idea generation tools with your peers.
  • Understand where these might help in a research environment.
  • Understand that ideation is not enough in either demand-pulled and technology-pushed innovation.
  • Have thought about which would be useful to your research setting.
