The University Language Centre offers courses in academic English to help international students, staff and academic visitors improve their academic written and spoken communication. They are taught by specialists in academic English and designed to meet the needs of students and staff at the University of Oxford. Summer courses include a six-week pre-sessional to equip students with the academic language and literacy skills they will need on their courses at Oxford, and a course in English for Academic Visitors and Researchers. The term-time courses focus on different aspects of written and spoken academic communication.
