The University of Oxford 3MT® final will see the winners of the divisional heats compete to win the overall University competition and be entered in the national semi-final. Come along and cheer them on.

The event will kick off with a short keynote talk from David Pyle, Professor of Earth Sciences, on the importance of engaging the public with research, before the 8 finalists present their talks. David is a volcanologist with a passion for public engagement; among other things he is the academic lead for Oxford Sparks and is involved with London Volcano and Volcanoes Top Trumps.

The MPLS heat winners were Simon Wood (Engineering) and Emily Seward (Plant Sciences). This is an exciting chance to see our DPhil students communicating their research and battling to become the University winner! The event will be followed by a wine reception. Sign up here.
