Currently Professor of Evolutionary Ecology at the University of Zurich, and leader of her lab group the Kokkonuts, Professor Kokko investigates the complexity of evolutionary processes as a result of ecological interactions. These topics of study range broadly from the behavioural, such as cooperation and parental care; to the ecological, like the effects of temporal change on populations; to the evolutionary, including the evolution of life histories and polymorphisms.
