DPhil Students
The DPhil is a period of professional research training during which you will develop advanced specialist skills and knowledge, as well as broader transferable skills to equip you for a range of careers. You will have lots of opportunities to develop skills and expertise in your everyday work in your research group and department. The MPLS divisional training and development programme aims to complement these.
Research Staff
The MPLS division co-ordinates courses for researchers on teaching, scientific writing, making presentations, engaging the public with your research, research integrity and personal development, as well as a programme of events and courses on entrepreneurship, innovation and intellectual property.
