MPLS communications
The MPLS Communications Team is responsible for the MPLS website and Twitter, the Division's monthly newsletter, the Division's involvement with The Conversation, and liaison with communications staff in the departments and the University's Public Affairs Directorate.

MPLS Divisional newsletter
MPLS publishes a newsletter each month (usually the third Wednesday of the month) with news from the Division and information about events and opportunities of interest to members of the Division's departments. The newsletter is sent automatically to all members of the Division's departments with the exception of undergraduates. An archive can be found on the News and Events page. Please contact Sarah Loving (sarah.loving@mpls.ox.ac.uk) for anything to do with the Divisional newsletter.

Events Digest
We send out a weekly Events Digest in term time which lists events, seminars, talks and workshops taking place across MPLS Division. The digest is sent out via email every Thursday, listing the events for the following two weeks. To subscribe, please email mpls_events-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk with 'Subscribe' in the subject line.
For events to be included in the Digest, please add them to Oxford Talks and make sure the organising department is listed either as an MPLS department or as MPLS Division.
Image Libraries
MPLS Division uses an image management system called Third Light, which enables departments to share images. For access please contact Kirsty Heber-Smith (kirsty.heber-smith@mpls.ox.ac.uk). There is also a free University image library for staff (login required).
Oxford Sparks
Oxford Sparks is the University's digital engagement platform for sciences, and produces high quality media such as podcasts and videos, as well as managing social media channels. The programme produces videos and podcasts, creates learning resources, and offers training for researchers at all levels. See more about how Oxford researchers can get involved with Oxford Sparks. MPLS Communications & Public Engagement with Research Network (MPLS Comms/PER Network)

the central University COmmunications Team
We work closely with the University's Public Affairs Directorate (PAD). PAD is responsible for developing public understanding of the aims of the collegiate University and the diverse range of its research, teaching, education and innovation activities.
PAD manages the University brand, organises its high profile events and promotes effective communication across the collegiate University, including external media relations for all parts of the University. A list of teams in PAD can be found on the PAD contacts page. Caroline Wood (caroline.wood@admin.ox.ac.uk) is currently the key contact for media enquiries and story ideas relating to research and innovation in MPLS. Content for the University’s central social media channels can be submitted by emailing digicomms@admin.ox.ac.uk.
The Internal Communications Team in PAD manages the Communications Hub with a wide range of resources and information for all University communications staff.
PAD also provides a University branding toolkit, conference items and branded merchandise, a style guide and a digital style guide.
The Daily News Alert is a daily round-up of mentions of the University in the media. Email news.office@admin.ox.ac.uk to subscribe.
