Superconductivity is not just a fascinating scientific phenomenon, but one that enables excellent science. Superconducting materials carry current with no losses when cooled below a critical temperature. This is a quantum phenomenon that has become essential in enabling technological breakthroughs. This novel technology has already had significant impact on various aspects of our lives, but these materials also promise future disruptive technologies that will have revolutionary impact on our lives. Superconducting materials are used in the creation of the strongest magnetic fields on Earth, and they are successfully used in diverse applications, from life sciences to scientific instruments, power, and energy. Building upon the successes in the past, we are convinced that superconductors can enable ""NEW"" innovative solutions and products in health care and medical applications. They can provide means enabling massive electrification, including energy generation, power distribution, energy storage and transportation. They promise to enable quantum computing and next-generation electronics. Enhanced performance efficiency with reduced physical footprint and reduced carbon emissions will have beneficial impact on mobility, data centres for a digital economy, and industrial processing. These and other sectors will benefit from by employing superconducting technology, enabling a greener, healthier, more prosperous, and sustainable future.  This workshop will bring together the international interdisciplinary superconductivity community (including representatives from academia, industry and professional bodies) to explore how to accelerate and facilitate the deployment of superconductors in a diverse range of new technologies on an accelerated timescale.  This workshop is the first step in preparing for an ambitious international Superconductivity Summit in 2023 with senior decision-makers, where the grand challenges and a strategic roadmap will be presented.
