The University of Oxford is a leader in energy research in the UK and globally. It aims to expand energy research, in particular to address the need for decarbonisation of energy.

The Director of Energy provides leadership and coordination for energy research in the university, including through the university’s Energy Network of energy researchers, with particular attention to strategic opportunities and inter-departmental links and activities.

The Director can be based in any department, but will link to energy research across the university. The Director will be supported by the Steering Group of the Energy Network and report to the Head of MPLS Division.
