Designed to provide early career researchers with the tools and confidence to explore leadership, entrepreneurship, and diverse career paths, RisingWISE has been a transformative experience for its participants.
“The practical sessions on negotiation and leadership have helped me get clear on what I want for future success,” said alumna Dr. Tugce Ayvali, Technology Lead at HydSun.
The report highlights success stories from women who have launched biotech start-ups, taken on leadership roles in industry, and redefined their academic careers. With programmes like SeedWISE extending the reach of RisingWISE, the initiative continues to build a strong, global network of women leaders in STEM.
“I felt equipped with the confidence and skills to pitch myself and pursue the things I wanted,” shared Dr. Hannah Rana, a postdoctoral researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
