Get Ahead with Your Public Engagement Training – Save the Dates!
We’re excited to announce that all of our training dates for the upcoming academic year are now live! Whether you’re a seasoned researcher looking to enhance your public engagement skills or just starting your journey, we have something for everyone.
Our free training sessions are highly sought after and spaces are limited, so it’s important to be ready when booking opens. To ensure you don’t miss out, we encourage you to take a moment now to do two things:
- Save the training dates to your calendar: Check out all the upcoming opportunities on our training page and mark the sessions you’re interested in attending (noting some are in-person, some are online).
- Set a reminder for 0th week of each term: This is when bookings for our sessions open. By setting yourself a reminder, you’ll be ahead of the curve and can secure your spot before spaces fill up.
Public engagement with research isn’t just a box to tick – it’s an essential skill that can help you communicate your research more effectively, connect and collaborate with diverse audiences responsibly, and make a real impact.
Our training offers practical guidance on everything from getting started in public engagement, storytelling, podcasting, engaging with controversial topics, and running interactive activities.
Struggling to find dates or want something to do in your own time? We also have an online course, which you can do in your own time, at your own pace, picking and choosing the modules that matter to you.
Whether you're looking to book a single session or plan your entire year of training, don't delay! Save those dates and make sure you’re ready to book as soon as each term’s sessions become available.
