This interactive online workshop will provide a deeper understanding of the science behind risk communication and aims to give a practical opportunity to formulate and get feedback on your own communication plan on a risk topic that's relevant to you.

This online, interactive workshop aims to equip science professionals with the skills to enhance risk communication and has been designed for those who wish to improve their risk communication abilities.
In the session you will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the science behind risk communication.
- Draft a plan for communicating risk on a topic relevant to you.
- Practice revising a key risk message to make it more meaningful, compassionate, and actionable for your specific audience.
- Receive feedback on your message from peers and trainers.
This 3-hour virtual workshop ensures engagement through facilitated group discussions, content presentations, and breakout room activities. Active participation is expected. A stable internet connection, webcam, microphone, and familiarity with Zoom are required. The session will not be recorded.
The workshop costs $150 to register.
