Where: Online
Hosted by: Science Ceilidh, an award-winning organisation connecting communities, research, culture and wellbeing.
How can university-based researchers and engagement professionals collaborate more effectively with youth workers and community learning practitioners to support young people through STEM?
This online training from Science Ceilidh offers insight into how STEM can be meaningfully embedded in youth work and community learning development (CLD) settings—not just to foster interest in science, but to support broader social outcomes like wellbeing, confidence, and connection.
Drawing on examples from the Curiosity in Action programme, the session explores youth-led and relational engagement models, which often differ from traditional university-led approaches. You’ll hear from practitioners, join facilitated breakout discussions, and leave with practical tools to shape your own work with young people and community partners.
