Intersectional allyship

We will look at what intersectionality is and how it plays out in our everyday lives and we will consider how many of us intersect and what that means for building an inclusive society. We will look at how power and privilege play their part and identify ways in which we can use both to support one another.

You enjoy research, but writing papers is either scary or just takes too long. You are under pressure to 'get published' in high ranking journals. Pressing commitments mean, however, that you haven't got patches of undisturbed hours in your diary. If you are a scientist, you work with co-authors who need co-ordinating.
