A face to face 3-day course for Research Staff, Leadership in Action will give you the opportunity to think about what leadership is, look at leadership theory, and explore your own leadership style. The course takes an experiential approach; this means there will be presentations on leadership theory, but for the most part you will actively participate in sessions and activities. This year the course is open to research staff from the MPLS, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences Divisions, so you will have the opportunity to meet and work with researchers from other departments and divisions.
