The MPLS John Fell Fund (JFF) subcommittee are responsible for reviewing JFF applications from across the division each term, and provide funding recommendations to the JFF Main Committee (chaired by the Pro-VC for Research).

The 'Computational representative' seat on the subcommittee will be available from HT24, although it could be filled from TT24. The seat is typically filled by an academic from the Department of Computer Science, Statistics or the Mathematical Institute. Academics in other MPLS departments who feel their research experience aligns with colleagues in these departments are also welcome to get in touch about the seat. Subcommittee members will normally be at Associate Professor or Professor career stage when joining.

Please email Sophie Harris (secretary) by Friday 26th January if you are interested in joining the subcommittee or have any questions. The subcommittee particularly welcome interest from anyone identifying from an underrepresented group in academia.
