Knowledge Exchange Seed Fund, rolling deadline until 3 May 2024.
The University's Knowledge Exchange Seed Fund provides up to £5,000 to support early-stage knowledge exchange activities with businesses, community and public sector organisations. Applications will be considered first-come, first-served until 3 May 2024.
The University's Knowledge Exchange Seed fund offers between £2-5,000 to support projects that seek to undertake early stage knowledge exchange activities. This can include piloting new approaches or enhancing existing activities.
The goal of the scheme is to ‘support and develop a broad range of knowledge-based interactions between universities and the wider world, which result in economic and social benefit to the UK. ’
Knowledge Exchange partners can include businesses, community and public sector organisations. Previous awards have been used to host joint workshops with new partners, bring-in external expertise to develop an impact strategy, and to kickstart new projects with existing partners.

Applications are welcome from those new or experienced in knowledge exchange. The primary applicant must be a researcher or staff member at the University of Oxford.
A requirement of the funding is that applicants need to have identified an external partner in advance of submitting the application, and ideally involved them in the production of the application. The application should include a brief and explicit statement of support from the external partner.
Awards must be spent by June 28, 2024.
Deadline for applications is midnight 3 May 2024.
Applicants will be notified 4-6 weeks after application submission.
Awards will be made on a first-come, first-served basis until all the funds are awarded.
