A practical introduction to participatory research practices for researchers from all disciplines. Sessions take place at the Careers Service on Tuesdays throughout November. You can attend some or all of the sessions to suit.

Are you interested in learning how your technical expertise can intersect with participatory research to create real-world impact? The Participatory Research Oxford workshops - an engaging training series offered by the Social Sciences Division are designed to help you understand and apply collaborative, community-driven research approaches, with flexible attendance to suit your interests. Whether you're just curious or wanting to take a deep dive, these sessions should provide a strong foundation to explore and apply best practices in your own field.

Participatory research empowers you to work directly with communities affected by or relevant to your research, enhancing the relevance and impact of your work. Whether it's co-designing experimental methodologies, working with non-traditional data sources, or addressing local environmental challenges, participatory approaches provide fresh insights and open up new avenues for impactful, interdisciplinary research.

These skills are increasingly valued and can lead to innovative, rewarding collaborations that bring technical research into broader, socially relevant contexts.
