The Physiological Society is hosting this three hour online training, which will include a mixture of theory, insights from research and practice, and activities.

Would you like to improve the impact of your research?

 Join this online workshop, delivered by the University Industry Innovation Network, to help realise the potential scientific and societal impact of your research and learn how to integrate impact planning into your research design and conduct.

Engage in discussions on the importance of different types of impact created through research and the benefits and challenges of engaging with external stakeholders.

By the end of the workshop you will:

  •   understand what impact is and what types of impact academic research can create;
  •   discuss and reflect on the importance of planning for, capturing and communicating impact;
  •   learn about the elements required for planning for and monitoring societal impact;
  •   understand the reasons to engage collaborators, stakeholders and beneficiaries as early as possible.

The workshop costs £20 for Society members, and £80 for non-members.
